Cybersecurity threats are escalating, with credential stuffing and brute-force password attacks occurring every second across the globe.

By enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your Ovation Hall account, a hacker cannot breach your client portal or hijack your domain names—even if they guess or compromise your master password.

How 2FA Works

2FA requires two separate proofs of identity:

1. Something you know: Your standard email and account password.

2. Something you have: A time-sensitive, 6-digit rolling passcode generated by an authenticator app on your smartphone (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy).

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

1. Download Google Authenticator or Authy from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

2. Log into your Ovation Hall Client Dashboard.

3. Click on your profile name in the top right corner and navigate to Security Settings.

4. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.

5. Open your authenticator app, tap Scan QR Code, and point your camera at the screen.

6. Type the 6-digit code displayed on your phone into the confirmation field and click Verify.

7. Important: Store the generated Emergency Backup Codes in a secure location (such as a password manager). If you lose your phone, these codes allow emergency access to your account.
